Interviewing at PlantingSpace

The interview process varies depending on the job opening, but our typical structure is as follows.

Step 1

Application

Submit your CV and information via our website. Check the requirements and responsibilities carefully, and provide short but insightful answers to our questions.

Step 2

Skills assessment

We’re keen for you to dive right in! First up is 2-3 interviews of 30-45 minutes each, with potential future teammates. These conversations are focussed on your technical skills and relevant experience.

Step 3

Hiring screen

A conversation with a member of our PeopleOps team, to gain a better understanding of your professional journey, and motivations. We’ll also discuss details relevant for hiring, such as any HR requirements specific to your location, your availability to start, our compensation philosophy, and more.

Step 4

System overview

A technical conversation with our Co-Founder and CTO. You’ll gain deeper insight into what we’re building, our organisational structure and ways of work, and begin exploring how your skills could integrate into our workstreams.

Step 5

Culture interview

A final conversation with our Co-Founder and COO. Expect further discussion about your past experiences, and more specific, behavioural-type interview questions - to ensure it’s a perfect match!

Step 6

Final checks & offer

We’ll ask for your references, conduct a pre-employment screening, and make you an offer!

Other Things

Fully remote

We’re a fully remote team, but we hire predominantly in European time zones.

Internships

We do not offer internships.

Visas and sponsorship

We hire globally, but typically in countries where candidates don’t need visa sponsorship from PlantingSpace. In some cases, we can sponsor visas - be sure to mention it if needed in your application, or Hiring Screen call.
